A Ukrainian Comedy in Munich!
Very soon, residents and visitors to Munich will be able to enjoy a legendary Ukrainian comedy in a vibrant musical production. On November 3, 2026, the play “Za dvoma zaitsiamy” (“Chasing Two Hares”) will take the stage at the Sudetendeutsches Haus, performed by renowned Ukrainian artists! The charismatic characters of this iconic story will be brought to life by People’s Artists of Ukraine Anatoliy Hnatyuk, Tamara Yatsenko, and Oksana Pekun, as well as other outstanding representatives of the Ukrainian theater scene.
“Za dvoma zaitsiamy” in Germany!
As part of the tour, “Za dvoma zaitsiamy” will visit not only Munich but also Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Essen, Leipzig, Dresden, and other cities. The audience will be transported to Kyiv in the second half of the 19th century, where the charismatic barber and con artist Svyryd Holokhvostyi puts his plan into action to marry two brides at once. With its dynamic plot, vibrant atmosphere, and humor, along with live music and songs, this performance will provide you with countless unforgettable moments.
